Beautiful Art Deco French sapphire and diamond target style ring. Dating to the Art Deco, this French ring has been crafted in 18 carat gold. Set in the centre are six roughly cut small diamonds. The diamonds are set into an engraved illusion star shaped design. A line of white gold frame the diamonds and separates them from the row of beautiful blue sapphires set around the outside. Even though the small diamonds are set in the middle it really is the sapphires which are the star of this ring! The 16 trapezoid shaped, step cut sapphires are set between the inner white gold and outer yellow gold rims. This ring is very sleek and perfectly in keeping with the modern clean lines of the Art Deco era. Circa 1930s, French in origin.

Sapphires: 16, trapezoid shaped, step cut. Each is approx 1.8 mm by 1.55 mm and approx 0.03 - 0.04 carats each. Total carat weight estimated while set as 0.60 carats total.

Diamonds: 6, roughly cut, approx 0.02 carats total weight.

Hallmarked on the back of the shank with an eagle's head, the French hallmark for 18 carat gold. Also tested as such.

Size: UK - Q; US - 8 1/4; EU - 57 1/2. This ring can be sized down to K / 5.25 or up to S / 9.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 11.35 mm wide and rises 5.5 mm tall on the finger.
