French Art Deco rose cut diamond eternity ring. Thirty roughly cut rose cut diamonds are pave set into this platinum ring. The diamonds sit low to the finger, each secured with two claws in a diagonal style design. The 30 diamonds encircle the finger completely. This ring sits low to the finger and is a narrow band with flat, unadorned sides. Rose cut is an older style of cutting with a flat bottom and the facets coming to an apex at the top. The style of cutting makes it hard to calculate the carat weight when set. One side of this ring is marked with the French mark for platinum and a serial number and the other displays what is thought to be a maker's mark. Circa 1915 - 1920s, French in origin.

Diamonds: 30, rough rose cut diamonds, each measures approx 1.3 mm. Rose cut diamonds and roughly cut diamonds are incredibly hard to estimated in setting. 1.3 mm is the size of a 0.01 carat if the diamond is a single / eight cut diamond.

Hallmarked with the dog's head, the French mark for platinum.

Size: UK - L tight; US - 5 3/4; EU - 16.3. We do not recommend resizing this ring.

Measures 2 mm wide and rises approx 1.35 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 1.7 grams.
