Antique bull seal crafted in gilt metal. I love this little guy! A fantastically fierce bull sits a top a rectangular plinth. The bull is beautifully sculpted with pointed curved horns, engraved fur, and a great curved tail. The rectangular plinth the bull sits on is engraved with decorative floral details on the top and sits. Set into the base is a bezel set elongated chalcedony stone. On the top is a little bail so that this seal can be worn on a chain. Circa early to mid 19th century.

In very good condition, the gilt shows some wear, as does the base, under magnification.

Measures approx 14 mm / 0.55 inch tall and 15.6 mm / 0.61 inches by 9.5 mm / 0.37 inches on the bottom.
