A simple and elegant round brilliant diamond engagement ring in platinum.  This style is a classic, first made popular during the 1930s, and very much still in vogue today.  This estate platinum engagement ring is set with a centre round brilliant cut diamond set in four claws.  On either side of the centre diamond is a bar set tapered diamond baguette.  The band is simple with unadorned shiny platinum.  This ring, like a lot of ring from the 1950s to current, is set up slightly from the finger which allows a wedding band to sit flush with it.  Circa 1990s, British in origin.

Diamonds: centre round brilliant cut, measures 3.3 mm and calculated as 0.15 carats, J colour, I clarity.  Two tapered baguettes, one on each side, approx 0.05 carats each.  Total carat weight of about 0.25 carats, calculated as setting permits.
