Antique wide 22ct gold ring dating to the early 20th century. Old and glorious gold! 22 carat gold is a classic, used for wedding rings during the Victorian era through to WWII. This wedding band is on the wide side at over 7 mm wide and is lightly domed in profile. Inside are nice hallmarkes for Birmingham 1910 making this ring 115 years old.

Hallmarked for 22 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1910. Like most antique British gold, this ring has a bit of a rosy tone to is, between rose and yellow gold though closer to modern yellow gold than modern rose gold.

This is a wide ring and, depending on finger shape, will fit differently to a more slender band, this is why we've given a trailing edge measurement.
