Antique ruby and diamond bangle bracelet. Five gemstones are set into an engraved star burst design across the front of this 9 carat rose gold bangle. The three rubies are a bright pinkish-red colour and graduated in size. Between the rubies are small peruzzi cut diamonds. The star engraved design contrasts wonderfully with the shiny smooth gold background. This polished section comes to a gentle point where it meets a tri-wire design which tapers down to a double wire design that continues all the way around the back. The bangle is oval in shape so that the design stays on top of the wrist. Circa early 20th century.
