Antique Edwardian aquamarine and seed pearl pendant crafted in 15 carat gold. Four bezel set icy blue aquamarines are bezel set with a delicate and pristine milgrain beaded edge. A negative space between the bezel set gemstones and the outer shiny edge highlights the milgrain edge. To the centre of the aqua stones is a seed pearl which sits slightly above the aquas giving depth to this piece. It came to us without a bail and we've added a small teardrop shape bail in matching 15 carat gold. Circa early 20th century with modern bail.
Aquamarine: 4, older cut, a couple of them with open culets, approx 4.1 mm each.
Seed pearl: white in colour, approx 2.8 mm.
Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 15 carat gold which is yellow in colour.
Measures approx 15.9 mm / 0.63 inches tall including attached jump ring but not the bail by 13.7 mm / 0.54 inches wide.
Weighs 1.3 grams.
