Antique aquamarine pear drop necklace dating to the Edwardian era. What a showstopper this is! I adore everything about it. A slender gold chain is integral, connecting at a bezel set round cut aquamarine. An articulated bar is oblong in shape and connects to a large pear formed of 14 bezel set aquamarine gemstones. Each of the aquas has a lovely high crown typical of an older cut stone. The uniqueness of this piece gets me every time! Aquamarine is the birthstone for March. Circa early 20th century, around 1900 - 1910, British in origin.
This necklace is in very good condition.
