Spectacular diamond and emerald engagement ring dating to the Edwardian era. The centre diamond is an old European cut diamond, of approx 0.66 carats. Flanking the keystone diamond are four channel set French cut emeralds with a further 12 eight cut diamonds adorning the setting. The platinum setting is beautifully pierced filigree in a simple wreath patterned design. The engraved design goes approx two-thirds of the way around this ring. Circa 1910s.

Diamonds: centre old European cut, measures approx 5.66 mm and is calculated in setting as 0.66 carats, H / I colour, VS1 / VS2 clarity. 12 eight cut diamonds total approx 0.20 carats together. Total diamond weight, calculated within the limits of the setting is 0.86 carats.

Emeralds: 8, French cut, approx 0.06 carats total weight.

Marked 10% Irid Plat. This ring is the common alloy of 90% Platinum & 10% Iridium, an alloy still in use today though the modern British standard is 95 / 5.

Size: UK - L; US - 5 7/8; EU - 16.3. This ring can be sized down to J.5 / 5 and up to N / 6.75. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 8.95 mm wide and rises 5.65 mm tall off the finger.
