Art Nouveau yellow gold fancy link necklace. This necklace is so unique, we believe it may have originally been a custom piece. The chain is a slender fancy link with long trombone links. Every few links is an circular design which is engraved a rope design. At the bottom of this chain is a large gold knotted design. The base of this knot is a dog clip. We thought that maybe this was a conversion piece but we now think it was probably custom made rather than later converted. This piece looks great both on it's own as the shape flows well together and it can also be worn with a pendant. We think it'd look great with a large locket! Circa 1900s - 1910s, British in origin.

Marked 15c on the back of the design and on the dog clip. Tested as 15 carat gold throughout.

Measures 49.5 cm / 19.5 inches long. Design measures approx 2.53 cm / 1 inch long and is approx 1.8 cm / 0.71 inches wide.

Weighs 6.85 grams.
