Each flower is made in sterling silver and enamelled in a purplish-blue colour. The end link is marked for Anton Michelsen, a Danish jeweller from the mid-1800s who was the crown Danish jeweller. The company later became part of Georg Jensen. This necklace has import marks for London, 1957.
Measures approx 36 cm / 14.15 inches long. This is a choker style short necklace.
Marked for sterling silver on the back of every few links. The link nearest the clasp is marked AM with a crown over it for Anton Michelsen. The second link in is marked with import marks for London, 1957 indicating the necklace was imported into the UK, assayed by London in the year 1957.
This necklace is in overall very good condition. A couple of the flowers show normal wear related scratches visible on close inspection.
Each flower is approx 8.66 mm wide. Necklace weighs 21.7 grams.
