Sapphire single stone ring set in 9 carat yellow gold. This ring is fun, bright and bold! A large cushion cut pale yellow sapphire is set in a rex style collet mounting. This sapphire is a very very pale yellow which comes up yellow in some light and looks near colourless in others. A flattering light yellow split shank band is a narrow width and D shape in profile. This would make a wonderful dress ring or a very unique engagement ring. Circa late 19th century, conversion dating to around the second-quarter of the 20th century.

This ring is a conversion. The collet, which holds the sapphire, has been added to the split shank at a later date. The shank was not soldered on entirely straight. Two of the ten small claws are worn, however the gemstone is tight and secure. It's a lovely, bright and fun piece of jewellery which is great at throwing sparkles!

Sapphire: cushion cut, very pale yellow in colour. Approx 7.55 mm by 7.55 mm wide by 4.68 mm deep. Calculated in setting as 2.20 carats.

Stamped 9ct, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.

Size: UK - N; US - 6.75; EU - 17,1. This ring can be resized several size larger or smaller. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.1 mm wide by 6.4 mm deep. 2 mm band.
