Lovely 9 carat gold curb link chain necklace. This antique gold chain has a great tactile link. The links are a medium width at 5.3 mm and solid so it feels lovely and heavy on. The classic curb links sit slat on the neck and are uniform in shape and size. The dog clips are the same size and one on each end completes this chain. The dog clips can be worn to the front, displaying a pendant, or to the back for a more simple look. At 16.25 inches this is classic, wearable length for a necklace. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.
In very good condition, both dog clips are tight and fasten well.
Stamped 9 . 375 on each link. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout, which is between yellow and rose gold, though closer to yellow in colour.
Measures approx 41 cm / 16.25 inches in wearable length by 5.3 mm wide.
