Vintage coiled snake ring crafted in 9 carat yellow gold. This ring is designed as a coiled serpent with the body of the snake wrapping around the finger and the tail hooked around it's head. The head and tail of this snake are engraved with a design depicting scales while the palm side is unadorned. The snake has gold eyes and a faceted gold bead on the top of it's head. Dates to the first half of the 20th century, possibly European in origin.

Marked 9ct for 9 carat gold. Additional faint and illegible markings inside the band.

Measures approx 12.4 mm wide at the head tapering to 2.55 mm wide at the back of the band, sits 3.95 mm off the finger.
