Engraved old mine cut diamond signet ring dating to the Art Deco era. This is such a beauty! In a larger size so the men can enjoy wearing it, though certainly not just limited to them, it looks great as a middle finger ring too! Set into an engraved star burst design is the chunkiest antique cut diamond. The diamond is framed by an engraved rope design. The faceted shoulders feature a hand engraved scrolling triangle sections which accent polished shiny sections. This Art Deco style design goes very well with the chunky old mine cut diamond. A tapered band completes this bold ring. Circa 1930s. The diamond dates to about a generation earlier than the mounting.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1933. The gold is rose in colour.
