Diamond single stone earrings set in a buttercup style setting. Sparkling round brilliant cut diamonds are set in eight claws with a frilly mounting beneath them. The ruffled edge serves to reflect light back to the viewer, highlighting the diamonds. These are such wonderful earrings! They are little disco balls with a wonderful vintage feel. Date to post-1970s.
Diamonds: 2, round brilliant of approx 2.8 mm, 0.08 carats each, G / H colour, VS2 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
Measure approx 5.7 mm wide by 5.3 mm deep at diamonds.
Weigh 1.2 grams together.
