Blue zircon single stone ring dating to the mid 20th century. A lovely teal blue zircon is held in eight white gold claws in a rex or crown style collet. The slender yellow gold band is cathedral style in shape, sloping up to the gemstone. This would make an excellent dress or occasion ring. Zircon is one of the birthstones for December. Circa 1960s, British in origin.

Zircon: bright teal blue, round cut, approx 7.4 mm. Calculated in setting as 2.25 carats. The gemstone is in very good condition and looks to have hardly been worn or used.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1966.
