Vintage 9 carat gold birdcage charm. This 1960s pendant has a gold wire cage with a bird on a perch inside. It's a sweet charm with flat, hallmarked base and a good weight to it. Circa 1960s, British in origin.
Stamped for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1969.
Measures approx 1.73 cm / 0.68inches tall including jump ring by not bail by 1.13 cm / 0.45 inches wide.
Birdcage weighs 2.3 grams.
This piece comes without a chain. We'd be happy to supply a 9 carat gold trace chain for £25 if required.
