Bezel set diamond stud earrings. These are small and very sweet earrings! They are bright and pretty providing a bit of sparkle for the ear. The diamonds are approx 0.15 carats each and set in platinum topped rub over or bezel style mountings. The base of the bezel and posts are gold, somewhat rosy in colour. These are easy to wear, everyday earrings due to their setting style and low profile.
The diamonds and their bezels date to the late Art Deco era and have been converted at some point with posts added. We've added brand new (and very tight fitting!) scroll backs.
Not hallmarked. Earrings tested as 9 carat with the edges of the bezels in platinum. Brand new scroll backs are marked 375 for 9 carat gold.
Diamonds are approx 3.3 mm for 0.15 carats each, 0.30 carats total, near colourless, I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Measures approx 4.1 mm wide by 3.6 mm deep. The posts are different lengths, 9.4 mm and 11.2 mm for the posts only, 12.9 mm and 14.4 mm total lengths, top of diamond to end of post.
Weigh 1.1 grams together.
