Lovely vintage opal and diamond ring set in 18 carat gold and platinum. A round opal is set in the middle of this daisy flower shaped ring. Either diamonds frame the opal with their clear sparkle contrasting nicely against the opal which has mostly green and blue play of colour. The daisy shape is a nice size and the round shape a classic. The diamonds are bead set with shared prongs between them and a smooth half bezel outer scalloped edge. The band is half round in shape and nice and thick. Circa 1910s - 1930s, British in origin.

Opal: approx 4 mm round and shows mostly green and blue play of colour.

Diamonds: 8, old cut, approx 0.32 carats total weight, H - J colour, SI1 to I1 clarity.

Hallmarked 18ct & Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - O 1/2; US - 7 3/8; EU - 55 1/2. This ring can be sized down to K / 5.25 or made several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 10.15 mm wide by 9.8 mm. Rises 5.25 mm tall on the finger.
