Art Deco diamond engagement ring in a stepped design. Eight old cut diamonds are bead set into a platinum top. The largest centre diamonds are set in a pair and lined in a double row of milgrain beading. The setting steps down to the next set of diamonds which are also set in a pair. The final diamond on the end is a single diamond.

From the side the band curves up, holding its prize diamonds aloft on the finger. The yellow gold band is flat in shape in keeping with the bold, structured appearance of this ring. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 8, a mix of old European cut and eight cut diamonds, approx 0.22 carats total.

Hallmarks worn and rubbed, partially legible. Tested as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - Q 1/2; US - 8 1/2; EU - 18 1/2. This ring can be sized down to N.5 / 7 or several sizes larger. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures 7.05 mm by 14 mm and rises 3.45 mm tall off the finger.

Weighs 2.6 grams.
