Beautiful Art Deco platinum ring set with a cornflower blue sapphire. This original circa 1920s mounting came to us empty and we've set a pretty light blue sapphire completing the ring. The top of this set is square in shape with cut corners, contrasting with the round sapphire. Scrolling platinum filigree dances down the shoulders to a wreath engraved design on the shank. The engraving is about halfway around the band with a plain back. Pierced filigree arches adorn the setting under the sapphire. Circa 1930s with modern sapphire.
