Art Deco daisy shape diamond and sapphire engagement ring. This vintage cluster ring is set with a centre blue sapphire sapphire surrounded by seven diamonds to form a daisy flower shape. The sapphire is a beautiful royal blue colour and is bezel or rub over set in a platinum top. Framing the sapphire are seven single cut diamonds, each bead set in a platinum setting. Underneath the gemstones, the gold setting is formed into a floral design. The band is thick in back and D shaped, tapering as it gets closer to the gemstone set daisy top. Circa 1920s, European in origin.

Sapphire: medium blue, round cut, approx 3.5 mm and calculated in setting as 0.22 carats.

Diamonds: 7, approx 0.16 carats total weight.

Hallmarked at 18ct Plat. This ring is 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
