Gorgeous and unmistakably Art Deco pearl drop white gold necklace. A narrow 9 carat white gold trace chain is adorned with two small pearls which sit at about the collar bones. At the centre is a white gold drop which features a scroll design at the top set with a white cultured pearl in the centre. Below the pearl is a criss cross design from which three drops hang. Each drop is a narrow white gold bar set with a pearl near the bottom and a pointed arrow design. The drops are graduated in both length and size of pearls. This pendant is articulated in several places with the bars and pearls swinging freely. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin

Pearls: cultured, 1 at 5.8 mm set in the top of the pendant. 1 at 6.2 mm, 1 at 5.4 mm and 1 at 4.6 mm in the drop, and 2 at 3.5 mm set in the chain.

Hallmarked 9ct and tested as 9 carat white gold.

Drops approx 4.8 cm / 1.88 inches. Measures approx 40.5 cm / 16 inches long.
