Gorgeous Art Deco platinum wedding set. A rare find of not only a matching Art Deco wedding set but this set is in excellent condition! The engagement ring is set with a 0.15 round brilliant cut diamond in fishtail style triple claw prongs. On either side of the centre diamond is a single / eight cut diamond set in a milgrain lined geometric shaped design. The geometric shape forms a point making a knife edge shank which is terminated with a Forget Me Not style floral blossom. The back side of this ring is half round in shape with a domed exterior and flat interior.

The wedding ring is a perfect match! The design is exactly the same except it has a smaller diamond is set in the centre. The two rings sit together perfectly on the finger and can also be worn separately. The inside of both are marked for a brand or manufacturer, Fidelity. Circa 1930s.

Diamonds: centre round brilliant cut measures 3.2 mm and is calculated in setting as 0.15 carats, I / J colour, VS2 clarity. 5 single / eight cut accent diamonds total approx 0.08 carats. Total carat weight, calculated as setting permits is 0.23 carats.

Hallmarked 10% Irid Plat. These rings are 90% Platinum with the common alloy of 10% Iridium.
