Delicate Art Deco rose cut diamond ring. Five rose cut diamonds are set into a pierced square shape platinum top. The centre diamond is set in a diamond shape and outlined in milgrain beading. A pierced design separates the centre diamonds from the diamond set in each corner. Further milgrain beading adorns the inside edges of the curved pierced setting of the corner diamonds. The band is 18 carat yellow gold and narrow, tapering to a point near the diamond set top of this ring. Circa 1920s, likely British in origin.
Diamonds: 5, roughly cut rose cut diamonds, approx 1.5 mm each.
Hallmarks worn and only partially legible, tested as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - N; US - 6 3/4; 17.2. This ring can be sized down to H / 4. Sizing larger would require a partial reshank. Sizing available for an additional fee. This ring has been resized in the past and is slightly off round currently, this can be seen in the photos and is reflected in the price.
Measures 6.33 mm wide and rises 3.6 mm tall. Band is 1 mm at the back.
