Stylish late Art Deco bypass design diamond engagement ring. This ring contains two diamonds, illusion set, into a bypass or twist style design. Each diamond is set at the centre of an engraved pattern which is made to reflect light. The setting serves three purposes; it was the style of the time, the diamonds are protected, and it makes the diamonds look larger. Platinum topped shoulders are shaped into scroll style shapes and swoop around the diamonds gracefully. This is a very elegant design.

This ring is part of a lot which we recently acquired which appears to be new old stock. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 2, single cut, approx 0.03 carats total weight.

Hallmarked as 18ct Plat. This ring is mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set in platinum.

Size: UK - O 1/2; US - 7 1/4; EU - 55 1/2. This ring can be sized down to K / 5.3 or up to S.5 / 9.25. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8 mm wide and rises 4.08 mm tall on the finger.

Weighs 2.85 grams.
