Add to WishlistThis is a wonderful classic late Art Deco diamond engagement ring! A round brilliant cut diamond is set in platinum with diamonds trailing down the cathedral setting. The edges of the shoulders are lined in miligrain beading. This is a stunning diamond, incredibly clear and bright, and it just lights up the finger. The diamonds are set in platinum and the undercarriage and band are 18 carat yellow gold. This is a classic setting, still as popular today as it was 70 years ago! Circa 1930s - 1940s, European in origin.
Diamond: 4.5 mm, estimated in setting as 0.37 carats. H colour, SI1 clarity.
Side diamonds: 6, old single cut, 0.09 carat total weight.
Total diamond weight as calculated in setting: 0.46 carats.
Hallmarked and tested as 18 carat yellow gold and platinum. The diamonds are set in platinum and the band is 18 carat yellow gold.
