Beautiful sapphire and diamond ring crafted in 9 carat gold and platinum. Set in the centre and lined in milgrain is a pretty cornflower blue square shape sapphire. This gemstone is set in an ornate platinum top with diamonds at the corners of the sapphires and a highly decorative faceted bead at the sides of the sapphire. Milgrain beading adorns the entire top, weaving between the beads and the diamonds and providing an extra bit of sparkle when it catches the light. Circa mid 1910s to mid 1930s, British in origin.

Sapphire: square in shape, step cut, cornflower blue in colour measuring approx 2.7 mm and calculated as 0.16 carats.

Diamonds: 4 roughly cut diamonds of approx 1 mm each.

Stamped 9ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold with the very top edge of the gemstone mounting in platinum.

Size: UK - M; US - 6.25; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between I.5 / 4.5 / 15,2 and Q / 8.25 / 18,3. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.55 mm square on top by 3.7 mm deep at sapphire. Band is 2.05 mm at back centre.
