Antique coiled snake bracelet crafted in silver. A long snake coils around the wrist four times. The diamond shapes scales are carefully etched to give a more realistic impression and the head is wider and flatter as is often seen in antique snake jewellery. The wire making up the body is rolled to the inside giving this bracelet flexibility so it can be put on more easily. Circa late 19th century.

In very good condition with minor signs of use and wear in keeping with age.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.

Measures approx 17 cm / 6.75 internal circumference. This would best fit a small to medium sized wrist and is put on by carefully coiling it around the wrist, one loop at a time. Measures approx 4.5 cm / 1.75 inches wide on the wrist when worn.
