Beautiful Victorian rose pendant crafted in 9 carat gold. The bold English roses and leafs are modelled in relief against a plain, shiny background. The scalloped edges are engraved with a small design and golden beads set in the dips between the edge.

In very good condition with clear hallmarks and crisply detailed to the front. At one point this piece was a brooch and the pin has been altered to form a bail.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1887. The gold is between yellow and rose, leaning much closer to yellow.

Measures approx 35.4 mm / 1.40 inches tall including bail, by 23.4 mm / 0.95 inches wide.

Weighs 2.65 grams.
