Antique set of three charms and fobs on an engraved pinchbeck split ring. These Georgian to Victorian charms have a lovely feel to them. The three fobs are of varying sizes, though all on the smaller side making them ideal for wearing together.
The fob is gold filled, measuring approx 2.1 cm / 0.83 inches tall. It is set with a carnelian which is engraved with a bird in flight with a branch in it's beak. Above the bird is written Faix.
The hearts are both agate, one larger reddish pink agate measuring approx 1.8 cm not including the gold toned bail. The smaller heart is banded agate and is approx 1.35 mm tall not including the bail. The bail through the heart is sterling silver and the bail attaching the heart to the ring is 9 carat gold. Both hearts have small age related chips at the edges with the banded agate having a slightly larger chip at the curve of the heart, it's pictured.
All three fobs are suspended from a pinchbeck, engraved late Georgian split ring. The split ring measures 18.3 mm outer diameter and 14.4 mm inner diameter.
Together this item weighs approx 5.55 grams. Circa 1800s.
