Antique Victorian turquoise ring. This five stone ring is set with lovely robin's egg blue coloured turquoise in a graduated design. The turquoise are set down in a bezel style edge with little crimped settings. Bevelled edges are adorned with delicate wire work. Flanking the turquoise are applied leaves on a slender engraved 12 carat gold band. This ring dates to the mid Victorian era, circa 1860s, making it just over 155 years old!
Turquoise: 5, oval and round in shape.
Hallmarked for 12 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1862.
Size: UK - M 1/2; US - 6 1/2; EU - 53. This ring is not recommended for resizing.
Measures approx 5.7 mm wide tapering to 1.8 mm at back centre. Rises 3.2 mm tall off the finger.
