Antique sterling silver antique trombone link double Albert chain. A great chain in a very popular link! Oblong trombone style links are of a wonderfully chunky size yet still sleek, exactly why this style is coveted. Each of these links is highlighted by a smaller trio of rounded links. Both ends terminate at a large, well sprung dog clip. A t-bar moves freely up and down the chain and very very cooly, it can be removed. I'll pop up a video so you can see the removal in action! Circa early 20th century, British in origin.
In very good condition. One of the dog clips and the t-bar have the same maker's mark and the other dog clip is the same size but has a different maker's mark.
Marked for sterling silver on the links, the dog clip, and the t-bar which also has a date letter for 1908. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver throughout.
Measures 42 cm / 16.5 inches in wearable length, oblong links are approx 24.4 mm long by 6.4 mm wide.
Weighs 36.2 grams.
