Antique fancy link chain dating to the early 20th century. Simple round links are paired together to create a tactile fancy link. Both terminating ends of the chain attach to a large jump ring from which is a larger dog clip. This chain does not open, it slips over the head, and is long enough to double over the head. Pendants or charms can be secured on the dog clip. If you prefer a shorted chain, the opening of the dog clip is large enough to allow for it to be carefully placed over the chain to allow it to be worn doubled that way as well. Circa early 20th century, Edwardian, British in origin.
Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver throughout.
Measures approx 108 cm / 42.5 inches total length, 54 cm / 21.25 inches doubled. 2.2 mm wide at links.
Weighs 13.5 grams.
In the photo with three chain, this is the middle chain. All boxes and props are for display only.
