Antique star pendant set with an old mine cut diamond. This sweet star came to with a broken bail so we've replaced it. It's a lovely and lively five pointed star. Set to the centre is a chunky old cut diamond with a very high crown. A hand engraved star design highlights the diamond, adding a bit of extra flair. Circa late 19th century star and diamond, modern bail.
Diamond: old mine cut measuring approx 3.2 mm and calculated in setting as 0.12 carats, I / J colour, I2 clarity. This stone is bright with visible inclusions to the naked eye.
Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 12 carat gold. The gold is between modern yellow and rose gold, as is normal for British antique gold. It's closer to yellow gold and has been shown on a yellow gold chain.
Measures approx 16 mm tall not including the bail by 14.5 mm wide.
Pendant is 0.9 grams.
This pendant can be added to a modern 9 carat yellow gold chain, as shown on model. Please choose the length you require at checkout. If you'd prefer a rose gold chain simply let us know!
