Antique long, simple silver guard chain in 800 - 900 silver. This long guard chain is composed of oval shaped silver links. The simple link is easy to wear and can be worn as a pendant, sautoir or lorgnette chain. Each end of the chain is attached to a small dog clip which swivels. This long chain can easily be worn looped two or three times around the neck. Circa 1900s, likely European in origin.

Hallmarked on the dog clip and links every so often around the chain. Tested as 800 - 900 silver.

Measures 74.5 cm / 29.3 inches doubled which is 149 cm / 58.6 inches if it could be opened.

Weighs 11.85 grams.
