Long fancy link sterling silver chain dating to the early 20th century. This chain features an intertwined twisting fancy link evenly spaced on a belcher link chain. The fancy links are thought to be handmade as judged from their slightly imperfect evenness upon close inspection. This is a long, lean chain which looks just as wonderful looped around the neck a couple of times as it does worn with a pendant. One side of the chain terminates in a small dog clip and the other end a simple jump ring. The dog clip does fit through the fancy links should you wish to wear this chain shorter. Circa 1900s - 1930s.

Marked STERLING on a tag on one of the fancy links and tested as such throughout.

Measures 94.5 cm / 37.2 inches long and is 4.2 mm wide at fancy link and 2.55 mm at belcher link.

Weighs 12.05 grams.
