Antique shamrock shaped old mine cut diamond earrings. These sweet earrings are designed are little three leaf clovers. The veins of the leaves carved into the gold provide a lovely detail. Bezel set into the centre of the shamrock is a single old mine cut diamond. The tiny stem on the bottom of each earring is facing opposite ways making these the perfect earrings! Circa mid to late Victorian.

In very good condition.

Diamonds: 2, old mine cut, approx 1.9 mm each to total 0.06 carats, I / J colour, SI2 / I1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold, which is between yellow and rose in colour, much closer to yellow though. Silver bezel edge.

Measure approx 22.2 mm long by 8.4 mm at widest point.

Weigh 1.7 grams together, approx 0.8 grams to 0.9 grams each.
