Antique sapphire and rose cut diamond dating to the early 20th century. What a beauty! This small safety pin is set with seven square cut sapphires to the centre with seven rose cut diamonds on either side. The brooch is crafted in 18 carat gold which is mostly yellow in colour with the top edge around the diamonds in white. It'd make a great accent on a jacket or blouse. It could potentially be worn as an extender on a chain. Circa Edwardian era, approx 1900s - 1910s.

Sapphires: 7, square cut measuring approx 1.15 mm each.

Diamonds: 14, rough roses cut measuring approx 1 mm to 0.50 mm each.

Stamped 18K. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold which is yellow in colour.

Measures approx 31.6 mm / 1.25 inches in length by 1.90 mm wide at the gemstones.

Weighs 1.7 grams.
