Large antique rock crystal pendant dating to the late 19th century. This piece is a true antique beauty! It opens with a small catch on one side and a hinge on the other. Two oval shaped highly domed rock crystal cabochons are set in frames of rose gold filled metal. Inside is about 2.5 mm of space, enough space to hold photos or small memento such as a lock of hair. Circa 1880s - 1910.

Tested as rock crystal. Gold filled, which is rose in colour.

Stamped 9ct on the bail, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold throughout.

Measures approx 2.6 cm / 1 inch long not including bail, by 2 cm / 0.78 inches wide, and 1.75 cm / 0.70 inches deep.

Weighs 9.1 grams.
