Antique purple guilloche enamel locket dating to the early 20th century. Double sided sterling silver locket with purple and white enamel inlay in a target or concentric circle design. The pattern is the same on both sides. On one side the enamel edge is white and on the other it's black. This piece has a little slot to pull open with a fingernail and opens from the top with the hinge at the bottom. Inside is a pale gold washed edges and plastic coverings and frames to hold photos in place. Circa 1900 - 1920s locket.

The white outer enamel edge shows some wear on one side. This is right by where the locket clicks shut and opens so it's likely from the century of the locket being opened and closed.

Stamped "925" on the attached ring and has a further illegible marking on the bail. Professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.

Measures approx 30 mm / 1.19 inches tall not including bail by 26 mm / 1.02 inches wide.

Weighs 9 grams.
