Antique Victorian pinchbeck long guard chain. Each chain link is rounded in shape, rolo style, and faceted to catch the light. Evenly spaced around the chain are six elongated interlocked trombone shaped links. Both terminating ends are attached to a single large jump ring from which there is a dog clip. This is a long, heavy chain and is easy to wear wrapped around the neck for a layered look. Circa late 1800s, European in origin.
