Interlocked ornated engraved pinchbeck rings make a statement on a gold tone chain. These rings were originally part of a Georgian miser's purse. The rings separated sections within a late 18th to early 19th purse. They are crafted in pinchbeck, a yellow metal meant to mimic gold, and are heavily engraved. One of them split and I had it resoldered to interlock with the other one and added them to an unmarked gold tone chain. The engraving on the hoops is deep and shows very little wear. The hoops can be removed from the chain, however they cannot be separated from each other in their current state.

Not marked. The two hoops are pinchbeck, dating to the Georgian era. The chain is gold tone and much more modern. It appears to be gold fill but is unmarked and hasn't been tested.

Chain measures 45.5 cm / 18 inches long. Hoops are 14.2mm to 14.3 mm internal diameter and 19.7 mm to 20 mm external diameter.

Weighs 10.3 grams all together: interlocking rings and chain. Other items shown are available separately.
