Antique 9 carat rose gold safety pin. This simple 9 karat rose gold safety pin is made from heavy gauge 1.8 mm rounded wire which has been coiled and shaped to form a working safety pin. This early 20th century safety pin has a variety of modern uses from being a simple brooch to securing a shawl or scarf (perfect for those winter months!) or, our personal favourite, closing a collar of a shirt. Dates to the turn of the 20th century, British in origin.

Stamped 9ct, the gold is rose in colour.

Measures approx 64.4 mm / 2.55 inches by 10 mm / 0.40 inches.

Weighs 4.7 grams. This is a substantial pin.
