Fantastic Edwardian knot pendant. A gold wire is twisted around itself forming a loose, curly lovers knot. The love knot design was popular in the late 19th and early 20th century for the sentiment behind it.

This piece came to us without a bail and we've added a simple pear shaped bail so that this piece can be worn on a chain. The little loop we've attached the bail to was present indicating that this piece was probably originally a brooch and the loop would be where a safety chain would have been attached.

Not marked, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold through, the gold is yellow in tone.

Measures approx 25.5 mm / 1 inch tall not including bail by 10.6 mm / 0.42 inches wide.

Weighs 2.7 gram.
