Antique garnet single stone engagement ring. A lovely oval cut deep red garnet is set in an eight claw rex style mounting. Garnet is birthstone for January and comes in a wide range of colours. This particular garnet is a deep, dark red which is often the shade people first think of when they think of garnets! It's a lovely chubby oval with wide shoulders which taper toward the back of the band. The band is a very softly rounded edge court fit or comfort fit which glides nicely on the finger. Circa turn of the 20th century.

Garnet: oval cut, approx 6.7 mm by 5.7 mm. Calculated within the limits of the mounting at 0.90 carats.

Stamped 18ct, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold.

Size: UK - N; US - 6.75; EU - 17,2. This ring can be resized between K / 5.25 / 15,9 and R / 8.75 / 18.7. Sizing available for an additional fee.
