Antique ruby and cultured pearl gem set small fly pendant. This sweet bug is is set with a pinkish red oval cut ruby set in a pinched collet. The abdomen is formed of a baroque shape pearl. The pairs of wings are set with split pearls which are graduated in size.
This piece came to us as a pin and we've converted it to a small and wearable pendant. Circa late 19th century fly. We've added a modern gold chain so it's ready to gift or wear! Please choose the length you require at checkout.
Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The chain is 9 carat yellow gold.
Measures approx 1.4 cm / 0.55 inches tall not including bail by 1.84 cm / 0.72 inches wingspan.
