Antique engraved paper clip link bracelet dating to the early 20th century. This bracelet is formed of four long engraved links which alternate with three small engraved links. The engraving is a simple foliate design on the top and bottom with a ridge down the middle as seen from the sides. These seven engraved links are all connected by oval ridged designed spacers. At one end is a simple spring bolt clasp and the other a large jump ring. The hidden catch spring bolt clasp, popular in the Victorian era, is a bit more difficult to get open one handed, but it provides for a smooth look in keeping with the style of this piece. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. This may have originally been part of a longer chain.
Unmarked, professionally tested and assessed as sterling silver.
Measures 19.5 cm / 7.75 inches end to end. Because of the long links it is 18.5 cm / 7.25 inches on a bracelet mandrel.
Weighs 13 grams.
