Classic antique Edwardian curb link chain crafted in sterling silver. The curb links are around 6.8 mm wide with a large matching dog clip on each terminating end. Originally designed as a gentlemen's watch chain, today these are more commonly worn by women as a single strand necklace or a double stand bracelet. The dog clip clasps can be worn to the front to display a pendant or at the back. Both clasps are strong and springy. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.
In very good condition with some minor wear in keeping with age and use.
Hallmarked on the dog clips for 1902 and the lion passant passant - the British mark for sterling silver - is on each curb link.
Measures approx 47 cm / 18.5 inches in wearable length. Measures approx 6.8 mm wide.
Weighs 46.5 grams. This is a nice weight, I find it not too light, not too heavy.
